Okaloosa EDC Releases 59 Joint Strike Fighter Economic Impact Analysis
Following the 2005 BRAC decision to locate the Joint Strike Fighter Initial Training Center at Eglin and the resultant EIS, the EDC engaged the UWF Haas Center in 2007 to conduct an economic impact analysis on the incoming 107 aircraft. Now, three years later we are looking at receiving 59 JSF and the EDC reengaged the Haas Center to conduct a new analysis as a result of the deviation from the original numbers.
